acedia is a deconstruction of gender dysphoria.

section 1

amai wakes up as “euphoria”, a goddess of the universe
she has the task of opening boxes to see if they contain the “correct things” (entirely vibes based)
- symbolic of her view on gender
- her manual gives an example of what contents looks correct, but she assumes that every box’s contents must comply to the manual
- she ends up marking both boxes as incorrect
she looks inside the cabin
- there’s a bed and table, along with a locked closet.
she is alone

there’s a letter at her door
- it reads: “Two boxes were processed yesterday; None were marked correctly.”
there are 2 more unopened boxes outside
- she looks inside and marks them both incorrect
she looks around. its just clearing then trees in the distance.
- well that’s it for today ig
- but… its so long till night…
she looks around her cabin
- looking around her tree reveals a door that can only be seen from one side
- opens it, revealing the Inside.
- closes it
she looks around the door to find yumi standing there, startling her.
- he’s shocked
- she’s shocked
- he explains that he lives in a tribe nearby, and she’s a goddess
- that makes no sense
- he offers to bring her to the tribe; she declines.
- he realizes she’s hungry, so he picks 2 fruits from the tree and gives her one. they feast :3
